Why We Use Verification
Traditional hiring platforms are vulnerable to fake profiles, recruiter impersonation, scam job postings, and misleading credentials. LVC Fair Job utilizes verification workflows and platform controls designed to help reduce these risks.
While verification significantly elevates integrity, it does not eliminate all risk. All users should continue to exercise reasonable judgment and standard diligence when interacting with others across the platform.
Verification Standards by Role
Jobseeker & Student Verification
Depending on applicable platform requirements, jobseekers may verify:
- Email address and phone number
- Full legal name & government ID via KYC providers
- Educational credentials & student status
- Professional background and experience
Recruiter Verification
Recruiters are required to provide verifiable affiliation:
- Legal name & official business email domain
- Agency or corporate employer affiliation
- Authorization to represent the hiring organization
- Recruiter functionality remains restricted until verified
Company & Employer Verification
Establishing organizational legitimacy and authorization:
- Legal entity name, official website, & business address
- Corporate email domain verification
- Authorized representative verification
- Business registration documents when required
University & Institution Verification
Educational organizations & student verification programs:
- Institutional domain confirmation (.edu / official domain)
- Career services authorized representative credentials
- Student eligibility validation pipelines
- Educational partnership controls
What "Verified" Does NOT Mean
A verification badge or status indicates that the account completed the specific verification requirements applicable to that process at the time verification occurred.
A verification badge or status does NOT mean that LVC Fair Job guarantees or endorses any person, employer, recruiter, university, company, job opportunity, candidate, or transaction. Verification also does not guarantee:
Identity Verification vs. Background Checks
Identity verification and background checks are distinct processes.
Unless LVC Fair Job expressly informs a user that a specific background check is being conducted for a particular program, a verification status must not be interpreted as confirmation that a person has undergone criminal, employment, education, credit, or other comprehensive background checks.
Zero Tolerance for Fraud & Impersonation
LVC Fair Job strictly prohibits creating accounts with another person's identity, impersonating recruiters/employers, submitting fraudulent verification documents, or posting fake opportunities. Accounts involved in suspected fraud will be terminated immediately.
